Lovely town this one. We took a walk around two palaces this morning, set in the same complex called Sheesh Mahal. The king ingeniously built six different passages from his rooms to those of his concubines, so they couldn't get jealous of each other by knowing when and how often he visited. The queen had the right idea - she objected to him hunting and killing animals - so upped and moved to a different palace and met up with the king once a year - hence the concubines!
We visited the temple as well - then had some free time. I opted for a head massage at the hotel - then we joined up again for cooking class at a home in the town.
We watched how about five dishes were put together - the main ingredients being spices and fresh veges - then got to eat the proceeds of the evenings work - and it was thoroughly delicious. I'm bringing home the recipes - but chances are it won't taste that good again :-)
