7 February - Pushkar

Long travelling day today. Its a good 5 hour drive from Bijaipur to Pushkar including a stop halfway for leg stretching and a cold drink (believe me, nothing looked appetising for lunch except a packet of potato chips!! And the mandarins I've been carrying since Bundi)

We arrived late in the day at Pushkar - very popular tourist resort - mostly with the hippy and spiritual crowd. More dreadlocks and sandals here than I've seen anywhere before!!

In being a good place for tourists, there are some nice market shops which we will wander through tomorrow. Tonight its pizza for dinner (wood fired even!) just for a change of pace...
